Definition of service

Provision of 1-2-1 coaching services as defined in the Coaching Plan.

Coaching is a process focused on working with your needs, wants, goals or vision for where you want to go, and then designing steps to get there.  It works on the basis that raising awareness is a key ingredient to achieving successful and sustainable change.

Coaching is not therapy.  The Coach cannot provide the Client with physical or mental health guidance, or legal, spiritual, medical, business or financial counsel. In the event that the Client feels the need for professional counselling or therapy it is their responsibility to seek a licensed professional. If you are currently in therapy or otherwise under the care of a mental health professional, it is your responsibility to consult with your therapist or mental health professional regarding the advisability of working with a coach, and to confirm with them your decision to proceed with the coaching relationship.

Coaching results are not guaranteed and this agreement in no way constitutes a guarantee of deliverables or outcomes as a result of the process. The Client enters into coaching with the understanding that they are responsible for creating their own results.

Coaching process

Session arrangements

The first session will take place on a date agreed by both parties.  The times and dates of subsequent sessions will be agreed at the end of each session.

Sessions will be provided as per the Services Plan.

Both the Coach and Client will agree to ensure that the location of coaching sessions is in a suitable environment.  Refreshments to be purchased individually.

Outside of our sessions

The Client can e-mail, text or call the Coach once in-between sessions to discuss coaching topics and can expect a response on a best endeavour’s basis, usually within 48 hours.  This service is included within the fee.  Call durations are capped at a maximum of 10 minutes.

Two accountability check-ins via email/call from the Coach to the Client have been accounted for should they be required.

Changes to session times and dates

The Client must give 48 hours’ notice (by e-mail or phone) to reschedule a session.  Sessions rescheduled within 48 hours will be charged in full.  If rescheduled due to an emergency this may be accommodated without charge at the Coach’s discretion.

There may be times when the Coach needs to rearrange a session and will endeavour to give the Client at least 48 hours’ notice by e-mail or phone.

Should the client arrive late to a session, the session will complete at the originally allotted time and the session will be charged in full.

Cancellation and termination

The Client may cancel a session at any time by e-mail.  Cancellation within 48 hours of a session is subject to payment in full.

The Client may cancel the programme at any time after expiration of the minimum term by email.

The Coach may terminate the agreement with immediate effect at any time if required.

Where multiple sessions have been purchased, all must have been held within 12 calendar months of the date of this agreement.
